At High-End Audio Auctions, we want to make sure you have a great eBay experience. That's why we run our business with you, our customer, in mind. Below are some of our Frequently Asked Questions to help make your transaction a smooth one.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! Most of our items ship worldwide. Each listing will clearly state whether the item is available for international shipping.

Are your items shipped with insurance?

Yes! We require insurance on all items. We do everything possible to make sure your order arrives undamaged, but no shipping vendor is perfect. That’s why every package is insured. For more details, please visit our Store Policies.

The item I am buying is delicate, will it arrive safely?

Absolutely! Our most important job is making sure your items arrive undamaged. Each item is expertly packed using our state-of-the-art Instapak® Foam-in-Place Packaging System, or in it’s original packaging. We call our packaging the best-in-the-business. Our customers call our packaging "bombproof"! In the unlikely event of a shipping problem, don’t worry! All items are fully insured and we will work with you to solve the problem.

My package arrived damaged, now what?

Don’t worry; we’ll work it out with you. In the rare case that an item is damaged in transit, buyer must contact High-End Audio Auctions within 4 business days of delivery. You MUST retain all packing materials and boxes in order for us to file an insurance claim. Based on insurance policies, throwing out or disposing of the original packaging voids your right to an insurance claim. For more details, please visit our Store Policies. Please note that the insurance claim process generally takes 1-3 weeks, but we will keep you informed every step of the way.

Do you charge sales tax?

We only charge sales tax for New York State buyers. For more details, please visit our Store Policies.

For international shipping, will I be subject to VAT and customs fees?

Unfortunately, we don’t know. It is your responsibility to check with your local postal carrier/customs office prior to bidding for more information about these possible fees. Under no circumstances is High-End Audio Auctions liable for additional shipping charges, VAT or customs fees charged to buyer. This includes any applicable VAT and/or customs fees charged to buyer for returns.

Can you lower the item’s declaration value on the customs form?

Sorry, no. Under no circumstance will High-End Audio Auctions adjust an item’s value for customs or importing purposes, as this is illegal.

When will my item ship?

Once payment is cleared, we aim for 1 business day turnaround, but items that require more complicated packaging may take up to 3 business days. You will receive an update and tracking information when your item ships.

Where’s my item? When will it arrive?

For updates on package delivery, please use the tracking number provided and confirm with the shipping vendor.

Can I pick up an item?

Local pickup is always welcome, but in-person payment must be made in cash.

What kind of payments do you take?

We accept PayPal, bank transfers, certified checks and bank checks. Cash is also accepted, but for local pickup only. Please note that in accordance with eBay policies, all shipments will be held until payment has fully cleared.

What voltage are your products?

Unless otherwise stated in the listing, all items that require power are manufactured for the US market and run on 120V @ 60Hz. We are not equipped to convert voltages.

Are my purchases covered under warranty?

Unless otherwise stated in the listing, High-End Audio Auctions is not an authorized dealer for any of the products we sell. Please check with the item’s manufacturer to confirm warranty eligibility.

My item is DOA or not working. What should I do?

In the rare case that an item is defective upon arrival, buyer must contact High-End Audio Auctions within 4 business days of delivery, and we will work with you to resolve any potential issues. NOTE: After 4 business days, we cannot assume responsibility.

What does it mean when an item is listed AS IS?

An "as is" item means that what you see is what you get. We do our best to describe the item and provide plenty of pictures, but High-End Audio Auctions cannot be held responsible for any issues with the item due to age or condition. Please review pictures and details carefully, as there are absolutely no returns on "as is" items.

Do you take returns?

Yes, with the exception of "as is" items. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and we offer returns within 14 calendar days of item delivery. Please note that returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee and shipping charges (both ways). Items must be returned with all original packing, including all manuals and accessories and in the exact same condition as it was delivered.

How will I know if one of your items will work with my audio/video system?

At High-End Audio Auctions, we are A/V dealers, but we are also connoisseurs, hobbyists, DIYers and audiophiles. We have decades of experience buying, selling, connecting and fine tuning equipment and are happy to answer your pre-bid and pre-purchase questions thoroughly and honestly. When it comes to speakers, how big is too big?

Trick question - there's no such thing!
